This product was great

I've had your previous 4.0 and I have to say they by far are better than this one. This one lacks the warmth I was looking for.

Disappointed

I work outside everyday for sometimes up to 14 hrs, and have used your products for a few years now. When it came time to get some new pairs I ordered 4 of the 4.0 cold gear extreme baselayer. I was surprised when I found myself getting cold while at work. I love the older pairs that I have and it would be awesome if you went back to that design as these that you're selling now do not work as good. Very disappointed with them and will be moving on and trying to find a different brand that will actually keep a working guy warm

Bad idea

As others have said, these are no where near as good as the original pillow fleece version. What the heck are you people thinking. If it's not broken, don't fix it

Absolutely incredible

I bought these about 6 years ago.. SIX YEARS AGO. And I still use them today. I think the model/style has changed since then. But holy wow these rock. I originally bought them to wear in ND when I was working on Oil Rigs doing system testing. During the winter when the wind is blowing hard, temps reach -50 or worse at time. I use to wear these and then just a pair of work pants over them and I was fine. (the work pants were slightly insulated too) But compared to my fellow workers who had many many layers on, I had just 2. I love these. Im actually wearing them now and about to go hiking up the Manitou Incline in CO. Its about 15 degrees out. Im just wearing these and a pair of shorts over them.

Cold gear long underwear

My husband is a soccer coach and always cold he love these

Quality material. Not as warm as they use to be

I have an older pair of the 4.0. Like others have mentioned, it’s made of a different material/construction that is very different from its previous construction. Definitely not worth the 80.00

Not the same product as before

These new 4.0's are no where near the same quality or performance the old 4.0's had. These are thinner and a different material. The square fleece lining is now a small thin diamond pattern and doesn't retain heat like before. I could buy a cheap pair of women's lined leggings and get as much if not more heat retention than these. The old pattern was far superior to this new design.

Great base layer!

I purchased this for my husband who is a hunter and is outdoors all fall and most of the winter. He loves the fit and durability of these. He has tried other brands and was not happy with other brand. These are his go to brand!

What happen to he warmth

They do not compare to the old version not as warm.and that is making them way over priced will not buy again till you have old version back

Cold Gear New Style

I do service work so I am outside all day. I have 6 pair of the old 4.0 waffle style and swear by them. I have worn them in -35 wind chill could hardly move my fingers and toes but body was warm. Not real impressed with these got 2 new pair this year. I got the same size I had before but because they are not a semi compression fit a large is actually to big. But that was my fault for not looking to see they changed the material. Question Why is it when a company has great items that do what they are supposed to do they decide to change them? Especially to a substandard item and for this kind a price. 2 new pair of long johns cost me 2 days labor.
