This fits amazingly well. I'm 5'1" and 150lbs and the medium was just right. The compression feels really good for long runs. The length also was perfect. The waistband feels comfortable and the drawstring really helped to keep it up during the run.
If you want great comfortabe compression, these are it. They're pricey but love this design/pattern and thought maybe price equates to the firm compression I've been having trouble finding. I sized up after reading previous reviews. Med fits perfect - 5'4" 132lb. They are heavier/warmer but fine for the upcoming colder seasons. I'm going to sweat regardless during a workout. And these are so cute, I could wear them out and about also so, I'm splurging on the other color too.
These leggings do run smaller than the other UA leggings, but are a master in compression. Because they are tighter they are a little more difficult to get on, but once they are on they are gold for compression wear to hold everything in. Not a huge fan of the string band and don't use it, but you can always remove it from the waist. I also really like the pattern on the leggings, as it obscures the areas of cellulite.
This is a great tight for those of us who like compression, including myself. However 1) it does run slightly small - I sized up one and I am glade I did. 2) the fabric is heavier than the typical compression tights. The pattern area has a velvety texture- so possibly less breathable. I have not worked out in them yet so it may be fine or just used during colder months.
