Honestly, this is my favorite hoodie now. It's lightweight, comfortable, and looks really nice. But, for those of your hoping that it'll keep you warm, it under performs. Works only up to temperatures of around 20c or 50F. Good jacket but I wouldn't call it really coldgear. Then again, a lot of the lighter cold gear at ua isn't really fit for freezing temperatures.
It's comfortable and light weight. The sleeves run a little long but overall size is good. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it, so it looks good. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This jacket is very cool looking, fits perfect for a slim body and has the perfect level of comfort.
I am buying more of these - very stylish - can be worn anywhere and makes you look hip and stylish - without being outlandish. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Great range of motion and a jacket for a cool day but not cold day. Has a nice smooth finish on the outside along with a warm inside layer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I love UA gear... I've got more than enough over the past 12 years of owning the products and selling them to say with confidence that the brand makes some quality equipment. This jacket IS a nice jacket, it feels good, it looks good, but no way on gods green earth this should be called a Cold Gear Jacket. It feels like a light sweater, at best. I went outside when it was 4 degrees outside, and I run pretty warm all the time, and this blocked the wind, but it didn't keep me any warmer than a regular sweater.
Certainly not worth 150 bucks. I returned mine immediately, I'll have to find something a little heavier to use as an actual jacket.
Small sidenote: It does not look like the photo. In real life it's much darker, and those highlights in the photo are heavily photoshopped.
This jacket performs and looks great. It’s lightweight, but offers good warmth. It’s too lightweight for winter temperatures, but it’s perfect for spring and fall days, and cool summer evenings. It’s a trim fit with longer sleeves. It’s good for hiking, golf, neighborhood walks and going to evening baseball and soccer games. Because it is lightweight, it’s perfect to take for travel when packing space is at a premium. It’s very stylish, lightweight and has performance to boot.
I purchased this jacket for evening walks and read the description and thought it would be perfect.
I measured my chest and used the online chart to order the correct size and it's much too big. The arms in particular are about 4 inches longer than mine and the chest is quite a bit bigger then I needed.
It's supposed to be insulated....some sort of changing insulation to adapt to your activity levels. With a name like 'Coldgear' I figured it would be insulated but it's no thicker than 2 cotton shirts. I wore a Tshirts, a long sleeve shirt, the cold gear jacket and a reflective vest and just about froze to death on an evening walk at -4°c with no wind.
I'm not impressed with this jacket
