Men's UA HOVR™ Sonic 3 Storm Running Shoes

Purchased the shoes for light running during the rainy season where I live. Initially feedback - great looking shoes, water resistant is up to par, and light weight. But it was tight and narrow around the toes. After the first few runs, the narrow toes area became tighter and uncomfortable. The outer sole was less than desirable on the wet surface (pavements). I was slipping all over the place. The sole did not grip well at all to the slightest wet surface. The water resistant layer worked well and kept my feet dry. Wish UA could improve on the outsole to have more grip on wet surfaces to match the rest of the water resistant aspect of the shoes.

The fit and security this shoe provides in the gym is great! Changed the way I deadlift and squat for the better. Provided good security because the eyelets have a small slit to lock in the laces but those eyelets have worn out after using the shoes 3 days a week for 2 months. Would not recommend.

I run 4-5 days a week in the original version of the sonic 3, size 10. I ordered these ahead of race and while they fit fine generally speaking the toe box width is not as forgiving in the 10 as the normal sonic 3. Overall the Sonic line is great(my regular running shoe), and honestly, like the material of the Storm version better than regular but due to fact they gave me a blister from wearing, I returned and feel best that if you order the Storm Version, go a size larger.

design is nice, color is matching and the connection to the app -which I’ve been using for years- is amazing. But, unfortunately, these shoes caused my foot an Extensor Tendonitis. It seems the sole doesn’t absorb the shock effectively while running, and, therefore, the top of the shoe is harsh on the foot. I’ve been running with two another running shoes from different brands, and never faced such a problem. I switched between both pairs and UA one, tried Sonic 3 in 5ks and 10ks alike and unfortunately, the shoes causing me pain. It’s a shame.

Poor fitting, narrow shoes that were very unstable to run or walk on. Very disappointed with them and returned them for a full refund. Fair play to UA customer service.

Étanchéité testée et approuvée dès la 1ère sortie. Le confort n’est pas aussi génial qu’attendu lors de la mise aux pieds mais aucun désagrément lors du run. Bien que c’est un avis total de t subjectif, je l’es trouve esthétiquement parfaite. La qualité est au RDV (heureusement a ce prix !). Premières chaussures « connectées », la connexion avec l’appli est automatique une fois établie. Les informations transmises par l’audio peuvent être personnalisées et permettent d’éviter de regarder son téléphone pour garder le rythme. Bref bon achat ! Je recommande.

Exactly what it says on the tin comes to mind! Everything the description says it delivers, the comfort and give back of the ride, the look and the technology delivers, what more would you want from a running trainer!

Light weight and fit well. Very comfortable under foot on all terrains with lots of grip. I would definitely buy again. As a positive my two teenage sons also commented on how good they look
