First one was too small for me and even though I had washed it once they still allowed me to exchange it for another size. Will be buying a lot more from this company.
The newer compression shirts that have visible seams around the shoulder pucker up and look terrible Stay away from these if you care how they look!
I use these shirts daily as undershirts while working in LE. They are great for dealing with the moisture produced from wearing a ballistic vest while on duty helping to keep me cool on the hot summer days.
There seems to be a common thread running through no only thes shirts, but as I was looking to replace some older UA Compression shirts. There really isn't much compression in the compression lines. For a while I had to get away from UA Compression due to the fact that they didn't really work out that well with some back braces for an old Vietnam injury, but as I had the possibility of foregoing those braces I went back to a couple of older compression shirts. I had just planned on getting a couple of these on sale while I decided what I needed, but I have to say that while these are decent, they are of lesser quality, and durability. I had thought of exchanging them for one size smaller, but that wouldn't work, what I gained from the "extra compression" would be offset by what I lost trying to squeeze my shoulders into space where the compression would only be trying to crush or cut into the skeletal structure. I ordered some additional similar lines of shirts thinking that these may have been a discontinued line for just that reason. In the meantime. Perhaps I would have been better off waiting on that next order. I can't say that these are "Bad" shirts, they are not, it is just that when going head to head with older shirts that had been washed and worn, stressed and stretched, the older ones were better than the new ones, notwithstanding the fact that the new ones had only been washed one time. Only time will tell about the other shirts.
This is an improvement on the sonic compression shirts, with side ventilation and extra tight fit. I wish I had one in every color and hope that UA will continue to make top of the line products that every athlete can reasonably afford. Under Armour is my "Go to" gear every time I'm looking for performance, comfort, and style.
The best compression short-sleeve I have tried thus far. The fit is comfortable, not too tight nor too loose. The slightly longer sleeves and the contrasting stitching color make the shirt look even better than the old sonic compression shirts. I use these for weight training, boxing, sprints, and even everyday wear. They're just that comfortable. Unless UA improves these, there's no need to get another compression shirt.
chest and shoulders just fit perfectly
As it tappers down to waist and does feel like a second skin
UA really hit the mark with this shirt! I am an avid athlete, who finds himself working out 6 days a week. I have always been a fan of UA and have owned many of their compression shirts throughout the past few years, This shirt is by far their best compression shirt yet! The shirt fits tight and provides excellent compression in all areas. The fabric is soft and easily transports moisture away from the body. The lighter colors do appears somewhat transparent, but this is to be expected with compression gear. These shirts are excellent for running, weight training, and just about every other form of athletic activity. I appreciate the wide array of colors, which sets UA compression apart from a different big-name athletic clothing brand. I highly recommend this shirt! (Side note: if you have never wore a compression shirt, then I highly recommend trying this shirt on in person before purchasing. Compression shirts are thin and are designed to fit tight.)
First off, I was very surprised with how fast the shipping was! I bought it on Saturday and received it on Monday. Go FedEx~
Today was my first time wearing the compression shirt and I was definitely pleased with how the shirt performed. I played a 40 minute long basketball game, and the shirt helped to keep me cool during the entire game. For a while, I even forgot that I was wearing the shirt, which is definitely a good thing since you don't want something to be distracting you in the middle of the game.
I would say that the fit felt a little too tight but maybe that's my fault in settling for a medium instead of opting for a large. However, I was highly pleased with the product and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering buying a compression shirt.
This does the job and is definitely a quality product.
