The fit of these is perfect, not too tight, but fitted. They are really warm and look great on! I’m 5ft 6in 130lbs and the med fit perfect. Definitely thinking about getting another pair! The long sleeve shirt that goes with it is awesome too!
As others have noted, these bafflingly fit like straight leg pants, not like a base layer. Little stretch in the material leads to immediate sagging and bunching. Waistband elastic has almost zero stretch. And they're no warmer than my basic UA base layers. Not sure what UA was going for here, but this is the most disappointing base layer I've ever purchased
Not leggings, not fitted from the calf especially down. Quality is not there, they did well with the 4.0 keeping you warm in more extreme temperatures. Fit is very poor, loose and awkward and almost meant to be layered not worn alone. Disappointed in UA and their quality lately in bottoms especially leggings. Bring back the quality you offered 10 years ago..
I agree with all the other comments. It’s not so much of leggings as it is a straight leg pants. Tight by my thighs but loose by my calves. It is warm though, hence why it got 3 stars from me.
The pants are great for cold weather! I wore them to outdoor bootcamp at 31*/feels like 26*. I missed the part about these being for 'low activity' and realize that this is very true! These would not be good for running as the material is a little bulkier and does not conform as much as I'd like - found myself pulling them up during cardio. But otherwise comfortable and WARM!!! I am 5'9", 185lbs, purchased Large
I bought these running pants because they were advertised as "the warmest." I have another UA running pants that I love that are warm but I was looking to replace them as they are getting worn out. The new running pants are not warm at all and I cannot replace them for my other pair.
The overall design of this base layer is very poor and I am returning the product. The leggings are baggy and they crumple up under as soon as you put another layer on top. I can imagine after wearing them for extended periods those wrinkles would become painful (especially for skiing). I am 5'4 and 140 pounds and the medium was not fitted in the wait hips or thighs. If you don't layer and wear them for a run the cold wind runs up the bottom of the pants since they're so baggy. Very poor product design and I would not recommend.
The lower leg is baggy. The waist line is not high rise so does not allow for good movement. Sorry the fit on these pants overall is just off in all the wrong places.
I am super upset. These are completely different than the original. I wish they just changed the name to own the fact that it's such a different product. The original with the thick waffle weave layer were the best product ever created by any brand. The channels left by the thick waffle pattern provided a warm later of air for insulation, and it was the only product that actually kept me warm. I need this as a Flight Nurse, needing to be prepared to be stranded in Upstate NY. I also wore them skiing and snowshoeing. After three Winters of use they're finally wearing out, so I purchased these and am so upset. I also wish I didn't refer many people to purchase these because I think it's going to be a waste of their money also. Bad move Under Armour. Please bring back the original. First responders were counting on them.
I have had different brands of base layer clothing. So far, this has been the best. They are comfortable and not bulky at all. The older style of Under armour 4.0 were a little warmer, but they were not as comfortable. With these, you lose a smal amount of warmth but gain the benefit of being way more comfortable.
